As part of the Eora Journey, the City of Sydney is currently inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to submit proposals for a major public artwork to honour the Eora, the Aboriginal people of Sydney, and to recognise the Gadigal clan as the traditional custodians of the land. Site information
As part of the requirements for making a submission, artists are required to propose a suitable site or sites for their proposed artwork. Below are links to additional resources and other information to provide artists wishing to make a submission.
This map, which covers Sydney’s inner city area, identifies the location of places that have historical associations for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, including around the harbour. The following links provide information on some of these places adjacent to Sydney Harbour:
