ANTaR's Sea of Hands (National Reconciliation Week)
Everyone is welcome to join us for lunch and a film screening to acknowledge National Reconciliation Week at Redfern Community Centre.
After a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, you’ll be invited to plant a hand as part of ANTaR’s Sea of Hands display. Hear from guest speaker, Warren Roberts, founder of Yarn Australia and enjoy a cultural dance performance by Rayma Johnson.
Lunch is provided, followed by a screening of the short film Miro, telling the story of an Aboriginal digger returning home at the end of World War 2.
