A member of the Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi nations of south-east Australia, Jonathan Jones employs an array of materials and techniques in his work to explore Indigenous cultural forms and their continuity and manifestation through history into the present moment. Jones’ work often occurs site-specifically, illuminating histories and knowledge systems that permeate and connect our landscapes, and inscribing them in our contemporary consciousness.
