‘String theory’ is a scientific term that speculates on the theory of everything. In this exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (16 August-27 October 2013 ), it is taken to mean the open-ended expansion and connections of ideas, stories and techniques.

Visit the exhibition to see extraordinary pieces from a diverse range of Aboriginal artists working with expanded notions of textile and craft traditions. From sculpture to photography, painting to video.

There will be Sunday family fun days on 29 September 2013 and 27 October 2013.
