Come down to the heart of Redfern for the free community even on Wednesday 30 October 2013t! Join the stars and celebrate the Award Winning premiere of “Redfern Now” Season 2 on the big screen.
Special Guest Performances by Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Microwave Jenny and Frank Yamma. Bring a blanket or chair and we’ll provide the food. Live entertainment starts at 6pm sharp at the block, cnr of Eveleigh and Caroline Streets, Redfern.
When: Wednesday 30 October 2013 from 3pm
3-6pm: Richard Glover’s Drive program
6pm: Gurrumul Yunupingu with Frank Yamma, Microwave Jenny and Brendan Kerin
7.45pm: Redfern Now screens NB: Starting Over, the episode screening at the Block is M rated and is recommended for viewers aged 15+.
Where: The Block – corner of Eveleigh and Caroline Sts, Redfern
Food/Drink: Nibbles and drinks are available, but you can bring your own picnic as well. (This is an alcohol free event).
Getting There: Avoid the hassle and catch public transport.The Block is only a short 3 minute walk from Redfern Station.
Wet Weather: In the event of wet weather the event will be cancelled
