Ngurratjuta artists at Customs House Library 2013

From 1 to 31 July02013, there will be a display of watercolours by Ngurratjuta artists on Level 1 of Customs House Library.

On Wednesday 10 July 2013, join Di Stevens, curator at Tali Gallery, as she discusses Ngurratjuta Art Centre (Alice Springs) that supports over 300 Aboriginal artists, with a special focus on the Hermannsburg school artists that continue the watercolour landscapes tradition. There are approximately 15 artists that paint in the watercolour style, being descendants of Albert Namatjira. The paintings represented by Tali Gallery are of those 15 artists.
