Artist Roy Kennedy talks about his work in the exhibition and his childhood growing up on the Police Paddock Mission.

Shield carving talk and demonstration, 6.30pm 

Join Murruwaygu curator Jonathan Jones as he discusses shield carving with contemporary carvers Andrew Snelgar and Simon Penrose, who will demonstrate their practice.

Live Music – Charlie Trindall, 7.30pm

Charlie Trindall is a descendent of the Gamilaroi people of north-western NSW. His sweet melodies explore themes of loss and dislocation as well as of hope, love and reconciliation.
