Australian Indigenous Fashion Week (11-12 April 2014) is a fresh and exciting new event that aims to showcase and support the design talents of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders from across Australia.

Set to become an annual fixture on the Australian fashion calendar, it will feature a diverse range of traditional and contemporary designs from emerging designers and already established industry names. The week will be a visual feast of wearable fashion and accessories, textiles and fabrics, as well as a selection of art, furniture and homeware designs.

More than a week of runway events, with a focus on Friday 11 April 2014, AIFW™ actively seeks to nurture the talents of Australian Indigenous designers and artists and is offering mentoring programs, design training and modelling workshops.

Tickets are on sale now, for Australia’s inaugural Indigenous Fashion Week, showcasing the very best of Indigenous design in spectacular runway style.  You
can purchase Tickets at ticketbooth.com.au.
