The Spotfire Symposium Landscape and Language is the first of three Spotfire Symposia anticipating barrangal dyara (skin and bones), the major new Kaldor Public Art Project by Jonathan Jones, which will transform Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens from 17 September to 3 October 2016.

The project will re-imagine the monumental Garden Palace, which stood in the Royal Botanic Garden in 1879-82.
In partnership with the State Library of NSW, Jonathan and writer Ross Gibson will curate a day of presentations, conversations and performances to help us examine, evoke, and in various ways, re-animate, some of the landscapes and languages that have bloomed and lapsed on the Garden Palace site.

When: Saturday 7 May 2016, 10am-5pm
